About:

A highly ranked law firm is seeking to onboard a mid-level litigation associate to join its thriving Denver office.

With over 500 attorneys across the country, the firm has gained accolades from BTI Consulting, Law360, and U.S. News & World Report.

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years of complex litigation experience.
  • Associates must have experience drafting complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings.
  • Candidates must have experience participating in the development of a strategy for written and deposition discovery.
  • Associates should have the ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.
  • Applicants must have the ability to distil research into meaningful and persuasive written work product.
  • Associates must have exceptional communication, analytical, and written advocacy skills and have strong academic credentials.
  • Mediation and other arbitration experience is preferred.
  • Significant courtroom experience is highly beneficial.
  • Judicial or Federal clerkship is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision.
  • Drafting complex pleadings and motions and arguing discovery and dispositive motions.
  • Formulating and developing case strategies.
  • Advising clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options.
  • Conducting research, interviewing clients, and witnesses.
  • Handling other details for comprehensive case management.
  • Managing the discovery process.
  • Attending legal proceedings, such as motion hearings, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Supervising junior attorneys and staff members with document review projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
